Studio Nest is a marketplace that connects producers with professional recording studios. To provide this service, we collect the following types of information:

Account information: your name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account.

Booking information: the studios you book, session dates and times, and payment details processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe.

Listing information (for hosts): studio details, photos, pricing, check-in instructions, and payout account information.

Messages: the content of conversations between customers and hosts through our in-app messaging.

Usage data: how you interact with the app, such as searches, saved studios, and device information.

We use your information to operate and maintain the marketplace: creating and managing your account, processing bookings and payments, facilitating communication between customers and hosts, sending session reminders and booking updates, verifying hosts, and providing customer support.

We also use aggregated, de-identified data to improve our services and develop new features.

We share information only as needed to run the marketplace:

With hosts: when you book a studio, the host receives your name and booking details so they can prepare for your session.

With customers: hosts' studio listings and contact details are visible to customers browsing the marketplace.

With our payment processor (Stripe): payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy. We never store your full card details.

With service providers: vendors who help us operate the app (such as email delivery), under agreements that protect your data.

When required by law: we may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

Studio Nest uses Stripe Connect to process payments. When you book a session, payment is collected by Stripe, which retains a platform commission before transferring the remainder to the host's connected Stripe account. Your card data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

We keep your account and booking information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and restricted access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Studio Nest is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact support and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
